Hear from our students and coaches about how our local FCA programs have impacted their personal walks with Christ.

"FCA helped prepare me spiritually for all of my games on Friday nights and helped me remember that football is more than just a game. FCA has been a huge step in reaching out to fellow athletes to remind them that we play for God and not for ourselves."

-Reace (Class of 2021)

"Being able to serve through FCA has been nothing short of a true blessing. The goal of being a huddle leader at camp this summer was to lead and teach my group, but in reality, I received far more than I gave. I went in scared and anxious, but I came out of it with courage and a new found hope...Chasing after Jesus!"

-Morgan (College Huddle Leader)

"My desire to grow my relationship with Christ started with weekly FCA huddles with my basketball team. I finally acted on it during Captains' Camp, where I was pushed past my limits and could feel God's presence all around me. I am so thankful for FCA and Captains' Camp for strengthening my relationship with God and pushing me in the right direction."

-Emily (Class of 2022)

"FCA has always held such a special place in my heart, and I will always be thankful for the community and support everyone involved in FCA has given me. My journey with Christ began with an injury, and an invitation to FCA, along with my local youth group, which quickly became a place of healing. Wow, did it change my life. Now I get to share my story with fellow athletes and share with others the opportunities that brought me to Christ. With the help of FCA, I have found my calling in ministry and am continuing my education as a Christian Studies major at Shorter University--AND, I still get to play soccer."

-Kenzie (Class of 2021)

"I was saved when I was about 14 years old. I teach and coach, but for a large part of my life, I thought my Christian faith and the way I lived my life were completely separate. I didn’t bring my faith anywhere near my classroom or the football field. When God came through recently, what He has done is brought a community—a whole family of believers—that just loved on me as I went through a difficult season. Now, my relationship with God has kicked open the doors—He is in my classroom. He is all on the field. He has made me a better father, teacher, and coach, and really, a better man."

-Coach W. (Football)

"I've always considered myself to be a Christian, but during middle and early high school, I got off track in my relationship with the Lord. Reading the Bible and attending church felt like a chore, and it wasn't until my soccer team started having FCA huddles, and I attended FCA Captains' Camp, that I realized my relationship with God shouldn't feel like that. With the help of some truly amazing people, I've found joy in taking the time for prayer and studying God's Word, and I am eternally grateful that God has blessed me in such a way."

-Bazya (Class of 2022)

"FCA has been a blessing in my life since I stepped foot into my first huddle as a freshman in college. I have seen the Lord do amazing things in not only my life, but also in many others' lives as this ministry has grown. FCA has become my biggest blessing, especially over the past couple months. As someone who has recently been called to be a part of this ministry, I can testify that the Lord works in beautiful ways through FCA."

-Olivia (College Huddle Leader)

"FCA has impacted me by giving me insight into the tools that I needed in order to grow in my faith with Christ. Thanks to FCA, I was able to discover a lot about the way I personally worship and connect with God, and I found that as a people person, I have an easier time reaching the Lord whenever I'm worshipping with others--particularly in small groups, like whenever you get to hear the testimonies of those around you and get to see how God has worked within their lives. This, to me, is how I connect to Jesus even more--by finding Him in the everyday interactions, and then getting to see Him move throughout the lives of people I interact with. FCA has also enabled me to grow closer to one of my teammates on the cross country team, and now that relationship has allowed me to see the gospel being spread to my new college and to my teammates, as well. I'm thankful to FCA because it has opened so many doors for me--doors that I never imagined would be opened, including meeting new friends, strengthening old and new relationships, and growing closer to the Lord."

- Liam (Class of 2021)

"I served as a huddle leader at Captains' Camp this summer, and it was the first FCA camp I had been a part of. It was intense! But I left that camp confident that I could lead students, despite doubts I had in myself. It was incredible to be a part of these athletes' lives for a week as they walked through this journey. I had a front row seat to lives being changed by the grace of God!"

-Georgia (College Huddle Leader)
